Jackie Machelle Eldridge

Jackie Machelle Eldridge, age 35, departed from this life to be with her heavenly father on Sunday, August 11, 2019 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born December 10, 1983 in Somerset, Kentucky to Ronda Lynn Arthur Petercheff and the late Robert “Bobby” Luster Eldridge. She grew up on a small farm in the Shopville-Stab community with her mother, step-father, and two siblings. She graduated from Pulaski County Highschool in 2002 and later attended Eastern Kentucky University.

Jackie loved being outdoors and some of her favorite activities were gardening; both flower and vegetable, camping, fishing, and four-wheeling. She also had a creative streak and a deep love of art and music. She enjoyed drawing, painting, sewing, jewelry making, and crafting. She was also an avid collector of cookie jars and vinyl albums. Jackie loved spending time with family and friends. One of the greatest joys and accomplishments in her life was being a mother to her beautiful and precious daughter, whom she loved more than life itself. She was a Christian and a member of Clifty Grove Baptist Church the majority of her life. Later she became a member of Potter’s Place Church.

She is preceded in death by her father; Bobby, and grandparents; Fern Arthur, Danny Arthur, Arvil and Tressia Burdine, and Jimmy and Doris Petercheff.

She leaves behind the following to cherish her memory: her mother; Ronda, her step-father, Jimmy-Todd Petercheff; one daughter, Fern Sutton; one brother, Robert “B.J” (Jerrica) Eldridge of Somerset, Kentucky; one sister, Lilly (Cody) Powers of Somerset, Kentucky; and a host of very special family and friends.

For those that wish in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or The Kentucky Chapter of the ALS Association.

In Celebration of Jackie's life, a service will be held at 11 am Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Lawson officiating.

The family will receive friends after 5 PM Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at Pulaski Funeral Home.
