Mr. Latham was born and raised in Pulaski County where he spent his life farming, livestock trading and raising a family. He was a quiet and clever man for the most part, but very vocal when he felt necessary and loved cattle and humans, perhaps in that order.
He would quickly tell you that he worked in the cattle business until he was 89 and was fired when his meat packer went out of business. He lived life as independently as possible until the end and will be sorely missed by those remaining. He now rejoices with The great auctioneer in the sky and all those that passed on before him.
