Ina D. Goodin Bates

Ina D. Goodin Bates, 87, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.She was born in Pulaski Co., Kentucky on July 1, 1929; daughter of the late Linville Green and Rilda (Boyd) Goodin. She worked as a Teachers Assistant for Pulaski Elementary School. She was a member of Beuna Vista Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband, Robert Bates; four sons; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; and her seven brothers, and sisters; and one grandchild.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 1, 2017 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.In Lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Rock Lick Church Cemetery Fund.Burial will be in Rock Lick Cemetery.Visitation for Mrs. Ina D. Goodin Bates will be after 12 PM Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Pulaski Funeral Home.Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
