Helen Mae Goff was born on September 5th, 1935, to Hobert Goff and Dorothy Owens in Ocala, Kentucky.
She had an active Childhood growing up on a farm and was a tireless helper. Helen became a Christian as a teenager and was a faithful follower for life. She graduated from Eubank High School and later studied at Gulf Coast Bible College in Houston, Texas for two years. Helen moved to Dayton, Ohio and was employed by The National Cash Register Company. She later met Phillip A. Hunt of Dayton, Ohio and they were married on April 4, 1964. To this union a son was born, Heath B Hunt of Anderson, Indiana and a daughter, Heather Dawn Sexton of Carlisle, Kentucky.
She has 17 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Helen was employed by the Pulaski County School System for several years before studying to become a Real Estate Agent. She had a successful Career for several years before retiring in 2009. Helen received word in November of 2019 that she had cancer and though the future did not look good, she fought a gallant battle.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2024 in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home at 1:00 PM, the family will receive friends from 12:00 until time for services.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to The Woodstock Community Center Gathering Room Library, 13215 HWY 39, Somerset, KY. 42503, With checks made payable to the Woodstock Community Center and In memory of Helen Hunt in the memo.
