Gladys Faye Foster

Gladys Faye Foster, age 74, Passed away Monday, November 27, 2023 in Lexington, Kentucky.
 
She was born on June 23, 1949 in Science Hill, Kentucky to George "Pud" and Martha Calhoun Goff. 

Gladys enjoyed working in her home, caring for her husband and daughter and tending to her flowers as well as working jigsaw puzzles. She was a devoted Christian who loved to read her Bible and listening to gospel music. The thing that she loved most was spending time with her children and family. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Martha Goff, her husband Delmer Foster, a brother; Plano Jr. Gossett, three sister in laws; Alfreda Stringer, Chestena Childers, and Jewell Calhoun as well as two brother in laws; William Jerry Foster, and Roger Foster.

Gladys is Survived by her daughter, Anita (Ron) Galloway, her granddaughters, Melia (Kevin) Bevins and Tiona (Chris) Baker, a brother; Danny (Linda) Goff, two sisters; Joyce (Donnie) Vaught and Shirley Goff,  sister in law; Donna Foster, and four brother in laws Elvin (Katie) Foster, Delvin (Lois) Foster, Ben (Mary Lou) Foster, and Jim Foster. She also leaves behind a special cousin who she loved like a sister, Geraldine Lane, as well as three great grand children, that she cherished and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly. 

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Smith's Grove Cemetery in Faubush, Kentucky with Bro. Scott Hughes officiating. Burial will follow after the service.
