Ferne Wilson Flynn, 81, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Somerset Nursing & Rehab.
She was born in Acorn, Kentucky on August 12, 1936; daughter of the late Charles E. & Lura Harris Wilson. She was a retired floral designer. Ferne enjoyed crocheting, loved cooking, gardening, and remained strong in her faith throughout her life. She was a member of the Somerset #23 Chapter of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her daughter, Janell Meadows & (Ricky Coffey); grandchildren, Jacinda & (Michael) Eldridge, Amber & (Barinder) Gill, and Breezi Turner; great-grandchild, Taylor Wallen-Eldridge; a niece, Janic Walthall; two nephews, David Gilliland, and Timothy Gilliland; a special friend, Linda Stepp; and her dog, Chico.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darold Flynn; a daughter, Louise Turner; a sister, Delana Gilliland; and a brother-in-law, Wilson Gilliland.
In honoring Ferne's wishes there will be no services.
