Faye V Tarter

Faye V. Tarter died Thursday May 27, 2021, at her home in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio,
following a long illness. She was 87 years old. She was born in Naomi, Kentucky on
April 26, 1934, daughter of Grace Burton and Ventus Norfleet. She was raised by her
loving mother and stepfather Warren Daws. She was a loving and devoted mother and
a homemaker. She was a faithful member of the Akron Baptist Temple in Ohio for many
years.

Survivors include one son, Dale (and Nadia) Tarter; one daughter, Julie (and David)
Jarvis; and two sisters, Shirley Wilson and Bernice Dezarn. She was preceded in death
by her parents; her husband Ralph G. Tarter; and her brother Roy Daws.
She was a kind person who loved her family and friends and will be deeply missed by
all who knew her.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the Chapel of the
Pulaski Funeral Home, Somerset, Kentucky. Burial will follow at the Tarter Cemetery in
Nancy, Kentucky. The family will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00
a.m. Thursday morning until time for services.
