Estel Erp

Estel L. Erp, Age 89 of Drum, Kentucky departed this life on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Somerset Nursing & Rehab.

He was born March 27, 1935 son of the late Robert Leonard "Lacy" Erp and Zelma "Zell" Slavey Erp. He had one Brother, Robert "Bobby" Erp.

He was married to his wife of 67 years, Betty Lou Wilkerson Erp on May 31, 1957 in Jellico, Tennessee.

He was a member of the Pitman Creek Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. He retired from the City of Somerset Water Department in 1989.

Estel proudly served in the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, his wife & brother.

He is survived by his son Barry and Lisa Erp of Somerset, KY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.

The family will recieve friends Friday, January 17, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM. in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 at Mill Springs National Cemetery with Bro. Doug Eggers officiating. Military honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #38.

Burial will be in the Mill Springs National Cemetery in Nancy, Kentucky.
