Emma Marie Rogers Todd, 98, of Somerset, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March11, 2020. Marie was born on November 27, 1921 in the Sardis community; daughter of Ossie and Sallie Leese Rogers. Marie attended First Church of God on Monticello Street. She loved to cook and crochet and made her family very happy with all the special meals and hand-made gifts. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Omer Todd, who she married on November 28, 1942, in-laws Tom and Grace Todd, two brothers Harry B and Harold Dean (Joan) Rogers, granddaughters Melissa Cundiff and Erika (Burr) Todd. Also in laws Gladys and Roy Hines, John Todd and Clarice Todd Vaught, Paul and Zinnie Todd, Tommy and Flonnie Todd, Linus Keeney, Cloyd Bumgardner, Marie and Jim Mason, Clarence Driftmyer, Zella Rogers and special nephew Johnny Todd. Marie is survived by her children, Doris (Steve) Cundiff of Somerset, Michael (Donna) Todd of Somerset and Barbara (Jim) Brown of Bowling Green. She had five grandchildren that she loved dearly. Steve (Amy )Cundiff of Somerset, Rhonda (Mark) Krummen of Independence, Gretchen Marie (Brian) Macy of Bowling Green, Chris (Erin) Todd and Jacob Todd of Somerset, great grandchildren, Taylor (Brittany) Cundiff, Kaylee Cundiff, Wendi and Emily Swain, Lindsey and Kenton Krummen, Jay and Emma Grace Macy, Walter and Graham Todd and Alexandra MarieTodd, great great grandchildren, Colson, Kamryn and Blakely Cundiff. She is also survived by three brothers Edgar (Doc) Rogers of Palm Harbor, Florida, Everett (Joyce) Rogers of Nancy and Vernon (Eva) Rogers of Sidney, Ohio, sister in laws Freda Keeney of Trimble, Gladola Driftmyer of Mt. Vernon, Ohio , Lois Bumgardner of Somerset and a very special care giver Debbie Price. She also had a host of nieces and nephews and an extended church family. A special thanks to Hospice of Lake Cumberland and all the staff at the Neighborhood. Funeral services will be held Monday March 16, 2020 at 1pm at First Church of God 346 Monticello St, Somerset, KY with Pastor Byron Creech officiating. Burial will be in the Todd Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday March 15, 2020 at Pulaski Funeral Home from 6-8 pm and Monday March 16, 2020 from 11 -1 pm at First Church of God Monticello St. Pallbearers- Steve Cundiff, Chris Todd, Jacob Todd, Mark Krummen, Brian Macy, Taylor Cundiff, Kenton Krummen and Jay Macy. In Lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland and Gideons Bibles.
