Elizabeth Lou Foster “Betty Foster”; formerly Elizabeth “Betty” Turpin went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 11th, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospital Lexington, KY at the age of 69. She was born in Somerset, KY on March 3rd, 1953 to the late Zella & James Turpin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years Jimmie E Foster Sr, her Mother and Father Zella and James Turpin, Timothy Turpin(brother), Junior Collins (brother), Wayne “Jim” Collins (brother), Barbara Ann Collins (sister), Margie Turpin (sister), Harold Turpin (brother) and Gerald Turpin (brother). She is survived by her significant other, James Smith of Casey County KY, Son Jimmie & Amanda Foster and beloved grandchildren Jasmine and Jimmie E Foster III of Somerset, David & Teresa Turpin, Steve & Kathy Turpin, Lisa & David Phelps, Juanita & Bob Wilkerson of Paris KY, Dr. James D. & Judy Turpin of Zebulon GA. Ginger Phelps & Tony , Leslie & Glen Blevins and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and many other friends and church family who both mourn her earthly passing and celebrate her home going. Betty worked as floral designer and was a hard worker throughout out her life, in recent years she was unable to work but loved spending time with her son, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, bothers, sisters, great nephews and all loved ones. She was a good wife and loving mother that would go above and beyond for anyone especially loved ones. Her final wishes in life “ I want everyone here to meet me in heaven. I’ve gone home. I’ll be waiting on you all to come where I am. Please, Please don’t go to hell. I love you all” Betty Foster. A funeral service for Elizabeth Foster will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 16th, 2022 at the Heritage Hope Church of God with Bro. Johnny Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Foster will receive friends at the Church from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 15th, and from 9:00 a.m. Friday until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
