Eddie H. Barnes

Edward "Eddie" Barnes, 81, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Friday, February 13th, 2025.

Eddie was born, March, 04, 1943 to Paul C. and Maybelle Walden Barnes in Danville, Kentucky. Eddie lost his father when he was two as a result of Sinking of the U.S.S. Indianapolis by the Japanese during World War II. Eddie grew up to serve his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed going fishing, watching Southwestern High School sports, h is beloved cat Autumn. He was a member of The West Bronston Baptist Church and he loved his family.

He leaves behind one sister; Alice Fitzgerald of Burnside, Kentucky, and two brother in laws

Shawn (Mae) Heath of South Carolina and Stanley Gene (Patricia) Heath of Kentucky. as well several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Maybelle Barnes and his Wife, Linda Heath Barnes, and one sister Sandra Barnes Foster.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. James Mills officiating.

The Family will receive friends on February 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery at Nancy, Kentucky.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the West Bronston Baptist Church Mission Fund.
