Dennis Joe Aker

Dennis J. Aker, 63, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland, Jean Waddle Care Center.

He was the son of the late Joe and Bernice Aker. Dennis was a member of Flat Lick Baptist Church.

He is survived by aunts, Emily Kaelin of Cummings, GA; Mary David of Prosper, TX; Uncles, Steve & (Donna) Aker of Science Hill, Mike & (Lesa) Aker of Eubank, and David Aker of Somerset; a very special cousin, Lori & (Marc) Ingram of Science Hill.

Dennis was a transport driver for Southern Petroleum. He loved his job and all his co-workers, they were like family to him. 

At Dennis' request private services will be held.
