Delmore Perkins

Delmore Perkins, age 75, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at his home in Knox County, Kentucky in the care of his niece and nephew, Bobby and Kelly Coates.
He was born in Dry Ridge, Kentucky on June 11, 1946 to Toy (Dews) and Roy Perkins

He was united in marriage on December 31, 1974 to Evelyn (Jones) Perkins and they were blessed with three children Dusty, Tina and Christopher. Delmore was a truck driver by profession but was a Christian man who was loving and sweet all the way around. He had Bobby and Kelly wrapped around his little finger and was greatly loved and spoiled rotten by them till God called him home.

Delmore, who was called "Del" by everyone, loved spending all of his time with Rylee his grand daughter. He worshiped the ground she walked on and she had her "poppy" wrapped around her little pinky.
He enjoyed western movies, riding his side by side, shooting his guns, gardening, grilling out and spending time with Dusty, his daughter and Bobbie and Kelly.

Delmore was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Perkins and his parents, Toy and Roy Perkins.

He is survived by his children; Dusty Perkins,Tina Perkins Baker and Christopher Perkins, five grand children; Rylee Humphery, Skylar perkins Jordan, Jamie Baker, Jessica Perkins, and Timothy Perkins. He is also survived by his beloved niece and nephew, Kelly and Bobbie Coates.

The family wants to thank VNA Hospice of London, Kentucky for all of the love and support that they gave Delmore and his family during this difficult time and for being there 27/7 just as they promised! Perlina Mahon, Diane Arnold, Ed Bowling, Nathan Dillon, Richard Stubblefield and Jeanie Lawson. May God bless you all and keep doing what you do!
