Danny Lewis Lester

Danny Lewis Lester, 64, of Somerset, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2022 at his residence.

He was born on June 13, 1957; son of the late Henry Lewis Lester and Faye Arlene Stringer. He was a retired Industrial Maintenance Instructor at Somerset Community College, a retired farmer, and a former tool and die maker. He had a love for farming, enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, and working in his machine shop.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Laura Sadler Lester, whom he married on July 9, 1977; two daughters, Lorrenda & (Shawn) Merritt, and Ladanna Glidden both of Somerset; two grandchildren, Xzavier Glidden and Laurel Merritt; sisters-in-law, Cira & (John) Thomas of Somerset, Patricia & (Tim) Daulton of Nancy; brothers-in-law, David & (Pauline) Sadler of Elizabethton, TN., Eugene Sadler of Tennessee, Thomas Sadler and Timothy Sadler both of Monticello.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Lewis Lester and Faye Arlene Stringer; and his sister-in-law, Lavon Sadler.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Doug Walden and Bro. Johnny Dunbar officiating.

Entombment will following in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends after 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at Pulaski Funeral Home until time for services.

The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the New Life Church Building Fund.
