Corine Walker Moss

Corine Walker Moss passed away peacefully at the Neighborhood of Somerset on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 having obtained the age of 92. Corine was born in Warren County, Kentucky on December 5, 1928 to the late Lester Walker Sr. and Mona Stone Walker. She had been active for many years in civic and church affairs. She was a former member of the Board of Directors of the old Somerset Hospital and was a mentor to many young women during her active service at the Cumberland Church. She was married to the late James A. Moss for 64 years. Corine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James, her youngest son Dwight, and all six of her siblings; Frances Williams, Lester Walker Jr, Gladys Harmon, Rethel Smith, Earl Walker, and Pearl Wilson, and a special granddaughter-by- extension, Tyler Blackburn. She is survived by her sons Donald (Melody) Moss, and David Moss, and her daughter in law Jeri Moss, all of Somerset. She also enjoyed her grandchildren, Scott Adams, Barrett Moss, Brittany Moss, Aaron Moss, Ann- Blair Moss, and Cory Moss. She had eight great-grandchildren, a special grandson-by-extension, Michael Blackburn, and her special niece who was like a daughter, Vanaey Greenup. Corine was a member of the Cumberland church of Christ, her late husband , James having served as an elder at Cumberland for many years. A private service was held Monday, September 13, 2021 at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Pulaski Funeral Home was entrusted with arrangements
