Connie Sue Sutton

Connie Sue Sutton, born November 24, 1962, to Vernice Sutton (B. 2/18/1933, D. 3/21/2004) and Josephine Burnett Sutton (B. 5/27/37, D. 12/30/2001) Connie stepped into God’s Kingdom on her 60th Birthday, November 24, 2022.

Connie was a member of Acorn Missionary Baptist and in her spare time enjoyed reading and embroidering. She also loved spending time with her family and friends, especially at cookouts and holidays.

In death, Connie precedes her parents, grandparents, one sister; Rebecca “Becky” Young, one brother; Rev. Steve Sutton and her only child, Melissa Sue Sutton (B. 12/17/1978, D. 12/20/1978).
Survivors include her oldest brother; James (and Joan) Sutton of Rush, Kentucky. One sister; Tamara Sutton Burton (and James Galen) of Eubank, KY, and her youngest brother; Michael Christopher Sutton (and Jennie) of Eubank, KY. Connie leaves behind a host of nephews and nieces; Brandon Young (and Shawn) Somerset, John Sutton of Kings Mountain, Evan Sutton of Eubank, Sara Beth Sutton Rose (Barry, Hartley and Kaden) Somerset, Brittany Burton of Eubank, Ariana Young of Somerset, Cheyanne Thompson (and Austin) Somerset, Eric Sutton (San Antonio TX), David Sutton (Madison and Loretta) Eubank, Kelly Sutton (Eubank), Kiley Grace Sutton of Somerset and Kayla Dickerson of Somerset.

Connie also leaves behind one sister-in-law, Debby Sutton (Somerset) one special friend; Charlotte Blake, along with two special boys; RJ and Jordan “Jordy” Dick of Science Hill, a long with a host of cousins. The family wishes to thank all the hard workers who helped Connie in her final days at the Jean Waddle Care Center of Somerset.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Saturday, December 3, 2022 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with services provided by Rev. Jerry Burnett and Rev. Peyton Rice.

Burial will be at Bethelridge Cemetery, Casey County.
