Connie Charlene Hargis

Connie Charlene Hargis, 55, passed away at her residence on May 30, 2017. She was a loving wife, daughter, sister, nana, and friend.She was born on May 11, 1961 to parents Walter Cook and Wilma Strunk Cook. She married Hubert Vance Hargis on May 15, 1993. She retired from Oakwood and went on to work and become a shareholder at Windows of Discovery, where she worked to help heal the hurt of others.She was preceded in death by her father, Walter; a brother Harvey; grandparents Namon and Edith Strunk, and Jim and Della Trimble; father-in-law, Hubert Hargis; and mother-in-law, Madlee Meece Hargis.She is survived by her husband, Vance; mother, Wilma; siblings, Pauletta Campbell & (Danny Mink), Eddie & (Susie) Cook; Troy & (Reza) Cook, Jennifer & (Dave) Perison; sister-in-laws, Elaine & (Albert) Whitson, Delores & (Buddy) Ping, Connie & (Frank) Daulton; as well as numerous nephews and nieces, including Takisha, Tabatha, and Tawney; and special friends who became part of the family, not just friends.She loved, cared, and helped everyone she met. She never met a challenge she wouldn't tackle. Our hearts break at her passing on to her journey.A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Dykes and Bro. Jeff Lockard officiating.Burial will be in Grave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Friday, June 2, 2017 at Pulaski Funeral Home.Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
