Connie Burdine

Connie Sue Poynter Burdine, daughter of the late Cecil and Eunice Ballou Poynter, was born on January 12, 1947 and she departed this life on September 10, 2022 having attained the age of 75 years.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Tophel Glen Burdine on February 14th, 169 at the Flat Lick Baptist Church. He preceded her in death on April 09, 2016.
Survivors include; two sons, Donavon (and Michelle) Burdine and Chad Burdine both of Somerset, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Tyler (and Brooke) Burdine, Jordan Burdine, Haley Burdine and Journee Mae Burdine; three great grandchildren, Oaklyn, Raelyn and Madlyn; three brothers, Cliston, and Brownie Poynter both of Somerset and Freddie Poynter of Midway, TN and three sisters, Sandy Huddleston, Imogene Lowery-Goldey and Twila Vanhook all of Somerset, KY.
Connie was a member of the New Beginnings Worship Center. She was a loving Christian Lady who was very strong in her faith in Jesus Christ,and she was always in church as long as her health would permit. She was a hair stylist for many years having worked at J.C. Penney Salon. She was a kind lady who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 15th, 2022 at the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Richard Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
The family of Mrs. Connie Sue Burdine will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 14th.
