Cletus Ralph Burton

Cletus Ralph Burton, 75, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

He was born in Somerset, on July 27, 1946; son of the late Eugene and Ruby Mae Burton. He retired from the Somerset City Gas department. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, and going to car shows. He enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He never met a stranger, and enjoyed talking to people. He loved watching baseball, gardening and doing things outdoors. He attended White Oak Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Fern LaFavers Burton, whom he married on November 4, 1964; his children, Jeffery & (Ruth Ann Ashbrook) Burton, Scottie Cletus Burton; grandchildren, Marissa Brooke & (Josh) McClendon, Jon Blake Burton & (Raygen Bingham), Clayton Ross Burton, Olivia Ashtyn Burton, and Bailey Logan Burton; great-grandchildren, Arias Blake Burton, Adley Nova Burton, Avery Reign Burton, and Benjamin McClendon; siblings, Calvin Burton, Alfreda Burton, and Judy Burton.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Randy Burton; two siblings, Shirley Louise Burton Calhoun, and Gary C. Burton.

A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Friday, October 1, 2021 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Josh McClendon officiating.

Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends after 11 AM Friday, October 1, 2021 at Pulaski Funeral Home until time for services.

At the request of the family, due to the pandemic facing us masks will be required upon entry to the funeral home.
