Claude Ray Baker, 75, of Nancy, Kentucky passed from this life on November 16, 2024. He was born on January 29, 1949 to Suzanna & (Bolin) and Claude Baker.
He was very talented in making anything, painting, and playing the banjo, guitar, and mandolin. He had a love for bluegrass music.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Brenda Roberts; two sons, James Chuck Baker of Somerset, and Timothy & (Heather) Baker of Eubank; two daughters, Brenda Sears of Somerset, and Tammy Baker Clingan of Spring City, TN.; his grandchildren, Zachary Richardson, Tisha Schuitema, James & (Kathryn) Baker of Eubank, Kenneth & (Carla) Baker of Somerset, Denica Leffew and Kelsey Green of Spring City, TN.; and a host of great-grandkids, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, John and Viola (Mikel) Baker; a granddaughter, Stacey Boles; sisters, Mary Ann (Decker) Baker, Mable Baker and Lillian Johnson; and a brother, Richard Baker.
A graveside service will be held at Grave Hill Cemetery 1:00 PM Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
Burial will be in Grave Hill Cemetery.
