Christine Cothron

Christine Collins Cothron passed away May 6, 2022 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland. She was 73.

Christine was born on September 7, 1948 in Salem, Massachusetts. She was a teacher, principal and district office administrator. She retired from the Pulaski County School System in 2013 after 32 years of service. She was the light of our lives and was loved by everyone that knew her. She loved gardening and her cats.

Christine is survived by her husband, David Cothron, whom she married on June 22, 1985. Her daughter Morgan and (Clay) Burke of Lexington, KY. her three stepsons; Jeff and (Jenny) Cothron, Chris and (Tammy) Cothron both of Somerset, KY. and Kyle Cothron Of Pittsburgh, PA, five grandchildren, Jake and Jaycee Cothron, Shelby Cothron, Alyssa Salyer and Sophie Salyer, one sister; Suzanne and (Tom) Duffy as well as her two nephews; Taylor and (Kristen) Duffy and Ryan Duffy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Amelita Collins and one brother; John Collins.

To celebrate Christine's life a memorial service will be held at St. Mildred's Catholic Church on May 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM, with Father Danny officiating. Interment will follow in the mausoleum of St. Mildred's Catholic Church.
