Cherry Losey

Cherry’s birthday is Jan 18, 1948. She passed from this life to be with the Lord December 17, 2022. Cherry started her life in Terra Haute, Indiana the eldest daughter of Ralph and Christine Williams.

Ralph worked as a Carpenter and later a construction superintendent. At an early age they moved to Fort Myers, Florida, and Cherry spent her formative years there. She liked to swim, bike and shop with her mother. As a young adult she graduated from Indiana State University in Elementary Ed and Reading. In 1970 Cherry met Philip Losey in Rockville, Indiana; thanks to Philip’s Aunt Betty Ohern then Betty Littrell. Cherry moved with Philip to Science Hill, KY and they both taught at Shopville School, He at the High and She at the Elementary. After fulfilling ten years in teaching she retired in 1980 due to health issues. Later Philip Senior, Philip JR and Cherry opened Home Towne Realty. Which they worked for 30 years. She as a office manager. Cherry and Philip had a long Marriage of 48 years. They were members of Beacon Hill Baptist Church. Pulaski Gideons, and Somerset Lions Club. Cherry enjoyed giving to others. Cherry loved her family her parents Ralph & Cristine who preceded her in Death. She is survived by her Husband Philip H Losey and her son Philip H Losey JR. Cherry has been a participating Christian since early years and a member of Beacon Hill Baptist Church for over 30 years. She will be dearly missed.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 21st, 2022 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Science Hill Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Cherry Losey will receive friends a Pulaski Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until time for services at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be in the Science Hill Cemetery.
