Cathy Jane True

Cathy Jane Hargis True, 70, of Somerset, passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024 at her residence.

Cathy was born on February 13, 1954; she had a difficult but rewarding life.

Her parents were Donald and Faye (Sears) Hargis, both were loved and respected. She was raised in Somerset and attended Somerset High School. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

She was the wife of David True.

She was a graduate of Somerset Community College with a degree in Nursing, she later became a Certified Psychiatric Nurse.

Cathy was one of the first 100 employees at the Oakwood facility where she learned to treat patients as people. Later she joined the Adanta Group as Director of Day Treatment Services.

She has two beloved sons, Anthony "Tony" DePrato and Jeremy "J.D." DePrato; three daughters, Jennifer Sheets, Suzannah Moberly and Natalie Brown; she had eleven grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 6 PM Friday, June 21, 2024 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Dan Brown officiating.

In honoring Cathy's wishes and the person who she was, the family encourages each person to come as you are, dressed comfortably.

The family will receive friends from 4 PM to 6 PM Friday, June 21, 2024 at Pulaski Funeral Home.
