Cary Rice Haynes

Cary Rice Haynes, 67, of Monticello formerly of Lexington, Kentucky passed from this life on Friday, September 3, 2021 surrounded by family in  Somerset , Kentucky. Cary was born on April 7, 1954 in Lexington, Kentucky to the late Alpha Marie and Charles Robert Haynes. 

He is survived by his Daughter Crystal (Michael) Watkins; two grandchildren, Whitney (James) Bunch, Kyle (Taylor) Watkins; two great grandchildren, Alivia Bunch, Gibson Bunch; a sister Cheryl Perkins; Best friend Rusty Hart; and a host of other family and friends who were special to Cary. 

He is proceded in death by both his parents, his beloved wife Margie Haynes and his brother Brent Haynes. 

Cary was a beloved brother, father, grand father, great grandfather and friend. He was a retired employee of Rupp Arena. His love for the ocean , cars, passion for music and sense of humor will be greatly missed. His adventureous side showed by skydiving, white water rafting and riding fourwheelers. He had excepted the Lord as his personal savior and was currently attending Mt. Pleasant Fellowship untill he fell ill, but he enjoyed getting to know the congregation. Cary will be missed by so many. 

A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Parmleys Grove Baptist Church and Cemetery located on Hwy 789 in Monticello, KY  42633. The church will open at 10:30 A.M. EST. Services will be held 12:00 P.M. EST. with burial to follow.
