Carol Ann Reichardt, 80, of Somerset, Kentucky passed away Saturday, September 8, 2018 at the Jean Waddle Care Center.
She was born in Orient, Ohio on February 4, 1938; daughter of the late Edward and Alice Wheeland Carroll. She spent many years in the financial trade before retiring and moving to Kentucky. After moving to Kentucky Carol volunteered for Pulaski Emergency Relief Ministries, and served as the secretary to the Executive Director. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and camping. Carol was raised in the Lutheran Church and upon meeting and marrying Don, she moved her membership to the Methodist church. Carol was both a member and attendee of the First Methodist Church of Somerset.
She is survived by her husband Don, whom she married on December 10, 1983; four children, Kirk & (Anita) Stomp, Jennifer & (Russell) Hollar; Donald Arthur, Jr., and Teresa & (Dale) Pollock; a brother, Richard "Rick" Carroll; two sisters, Deborah Bowers, and Judith Bowers; grandchildren, Trisha & (Mark) Mullins, Courtney Stomp, Jonathan & (Alisha) Hollar, Tara Hollar, Heather Reichardt, and Elizabeth & (Shane) Allen; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant sister; a sister-in-law, Patricia Carroll; and granddaughter, Jennifer Kempton.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Ashley officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at Pulaski Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the Missions Ministry at First Methodist Church of Somerset.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 13, 2018 at Big Darby Cemetery, Darby Township, Madison Co., Ohio with Bro. Richard Smyers officiating; where burial will follow.
