Carletta Shadoan

March 23, 1942 — April 6, 2025

Carletta Fern Shadoan, 83 of Science Hill, Kentucky passed away on April 6, 2025 at the Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, Kentucky.

Fern was born on March 23, 1942 to Otis Lee and Rosetta Blevins Hall in King Bee, Kentucky. She was a wonderful Woman who put others first and was a caregiver to her whole family and all of the people who surrounded her. Fern loved her two children and her grandson more than anything and would do anything for them. She was a hard worker and whatever she did she gave it all she had.

Fern enjoyed many various hobbies such as Camping, bird watching, working puzzles, and gardening. She was a fan of gospel music as well as Elvis, and liked a little country every now and then too. She was an animal lover and dogs and birds were particular favorites. Fern was a good cook and she often made up her own recipes adding a little of this and a pinch of that and it always tasted great. She was a member of the Science Hill C.B. Club where she was known by the handle of "Wildflower". She was of the Baptist faith. Fern was a woman who knew the true meaning of family and she loved hers with all of her heart. Her love, caring and kindness will be missed.

Fern leaves behind one son,Danny Carroll Shadoan of Science Hill, Kentucky, a daughter, Shelia (David) Littrell of Somerset, Kentucky, her beloved grandson, Trenton Scott Bell also of Somerset, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Curtis Gary Shadoan, four brothers; Robert Hall, Roscoe Hall, Russell Hall, and Tommy Hall, her Sisters; Oda Elizann Ware and Mary Eleen Shadoan.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home at 2:00 PM with Bro Gary Evans Officiating.

Burial will follow in the Science Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends in the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home from 12:00 PM till time for services.

Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with all arrangements.
