Betty was born in the "Crackers Neck" Community January 1,1943 to the late Elmer and Hattie Dugger.

Betty was a Strong woman of faith. She was a well thought of Member of the Langdon Street Baptist Church. All that knew Betty thought of her as a unique and compassionate person.

Betty worked at Tecumseh Products for many years, until she was injured on the job. However, she was determined not to let her injury keep her down and returned to School to further her education. She spent many years doing what she loved, working with individuals with disabilities to try to help ensure that they would have the skills to ensure the best quality of life possible for them.

She had many hobbies, such as fishing and she would tell you that she could out-fish any man! She loved spending time with family and friends, playing cards, going to bingo but most of all anything that she did with her family.

Betty leaves behind many family members to cherish her memory till they meet again. Her children; Joe (Laurie) Burnett, Sherry (Rob) Avery, and Kristi (Nate) Adkins. as she loved to say she had a bushel of grandchildren, Brooke, Jill, Stephanie, Jake, Nick, Joe, Shawn, Brandon, Brian, Brett, Bethany, Kaitlynn, and Kassie. Her great grand children Kinsley, Kayelyn, Drake, Brylee, Iris, Amelia, Deegan, Cynthia, and Emilee. Her two siblings; Wanda Faye (Howard) Hunt and Janet "Cookie" (Roger) Whittenberg.

The family would like to extend an invitation to join them on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at the activity center of Langdon Street Baptist Church to Celebrate Betty's life. The ceremony will begin at 12:30 PM.
