Barry Hyden

Wendell Barry Hyden, age 52, formerly of Somerset passed away on Monday, February
6th, 2023 at his home in Louisville KY.

Barry was born on April 6th,1970 in Somerset, Ky to Wendell and Connie Hyden. He
enjoyed sports, gaming, and movies. He was a huge fan of the University of Louisville
Cardinals and the Miami Dolphins. Barry loved making people laugh and especially
loved spending time with his family and friends. He spent most of his professional
career working in the pharmaceutical field with his current employment being with
Option Care Health in Louisville, Ky. He was a graduate of Mt. Victory Elementary,
Pulaski County High School, and Attended Eastern KY University. He attended church
as a child at Goodwater Church of God and as an adult accepted the Catholic faith,
attending Mass at St. Mildreds Catholic Church. Barry was a kind person and friendly to
everyone he met.

Barry is survived by his Mother and Father, Connie Hyden of Somerset, Ky, Wendell
and his wife Lynne Hyden of Bronston, KY. One Brother, Alex and his wife Alexandra
Hyden and one niece Lucille Hyden of Somerset, KY. He is also survived by three
aunts, Mickey Keith, Barbara Childers, and Carmen Hyden, Two uncles, William
Childers and Gerald Childers. One stepsister Kelly Alley (and Family) and one
stepbrother Michael Shepherd (and Family). Barry also had multiple cousins who he
loved, Jason Childers (and family) , Cole Childers (and Family), Brandie Adkins (and
Family), Angie Creech (and Family), Darren Sears (and Family), Cheryl Claxyton (and
Family), Cassandra Hyden and Matthew Hyden, as well as a host of family, extended
family, and friends that will miss him very much.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene and Mary Childers, Charles and
Lucille Hyden. Two aunts, June Sears and Diane Cox. Three uncles Bruce Hyden,
Charles Sears, and Dale Cox. And two cousins, Chris Sears and Michael Sears.
His family and friends are deeply comforted by the thoughts and prayers of everyone
who knew and loved him.

A memorial service will be held at Pulaski Funeral Home on Thursday, February, 16 at

1:00 PM. The family will receive friends at 11:00 AM. until time for services.
