She was mostly a stay at home mother except for working a few years as the bookkeeper when S&T Hardware opened in the Tradewinds Shopping Center. Her hobbies in her younger years were raising and selling pure bred Boxers. In addition to her dogs she always enjoyed gardening, fishing, watching UK basketball, bird watching, working all types of puzzles, and keeping up with the political world. She had a love of southern gospel music and she and Morris attended many national quartet conventions. She was a Kentucky Colonel. Due to Covid -19 concerns, a private funeral service will be held at the Pulaski Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 and burial will follow at Mill Springs National Cemetery for family only. The family would like to express our appreciation to the staff of Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility for the care they provided.
