Arthur Clinton Patterson

Arthur Clinton Patterson, age 95 went to his heavenly home October 21, 2017 at the Danville Center of Nursing and Rehabilitation in Danville, Kentucky.Arthur was born to the late Roscoe and Willie Myrtle Mills Patterson on August 26, 1922. He loved meeting people and making new friends which he did through the years being a school teacher and farmer. He was a WWII veteran and also a member of the Sardis United Methodist Church.Arthur was married to Ruby Ellen Minton Patterson on July 22, 1942 which preceeded him in death on February 21, 1986. To this union was born three children. Danny and (Barbara) Patterson; Kay Simpson; a son; Doyle Patterson which preceeded him in death on April 28, 2016. He is survived by a daughter-in-law Janice Patterson.He is also survived by six grandchildren, Garry & (Lisa) Simpson; Karen & (Charlie) Walker; Roy Simpson; Troy & (Sami) Patterson; Matthew & (Cindy) Patterson and Jennifer Patterson Warren. Nine great-grandchildren, Hunter Simpson; Courtney Walker; Brandon Patterson; Haley Patterson, Tyler Simpson; Tori Simpson; Josi Patterson; Ethan Warren and Emma Grace Warren.Arthur was preceded in death by his seven brothers, Robert Patterson; Ocie Patterson; Walter Patterson; Wilbur Patterson; Caleb Patterson; Ralph Patterson and an infant brother. Two sisters, Grace Patterson Means and Gladys Patterson Foley.Pallbears will be his grandsons and two great-grandsons.A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday October 24, 2017 at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home.Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM, Monday October 23, 2017 at Pulaski Funeral Home.The family request expressions of sympathy be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan.Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.
