Angela “Angie” Monique Faulkner (Garr-Bragg) was reunited with her mother Emma Jean Hines on April 10, 2023 at the age of 50.
On February 25, 1973, a very special person was born to the late Emma Jean Hines and James L. Hines, in Somerset, Kentucky. She confessed her love for Christ at an early age. After graduating from Somerset High School in 1991, she pursued a Bachelor’s Degree from Western Kentucky University as well as a Master’s Degree in business from University of Phoenix. She was a dedicated supervisor for the Commonwealth of Kentucky until her retirement then became a clerk with Jefferson County Circuit Court.
Angela, in her own way, was a comedian and could make a room smile with her just being in it. She was genuine to a fault and yet she sugar-coated nothing or at least sometimes. She loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals and desserts for her family and friends. Angela was talented with many passions ranging cooking, making special treats, catering, line dancing, Hyp3 fitness with Jermon Guest and family, and overall loving on all whom she encountered. Her sassy approach to life made her the lovable compassionate woman she was. You couldn't underestimate her because she was strong-willed and a hard worker making her unstoppable at times.
Angela will be lovingly remembered by her fiancé, Eugene Woodard. She was the beautiful daughter of James L. Hines. The very proud mother to 3 handsome sons, Antonio D. Faulkner, Donovan B. Garr and Devin J. Garr. The best friend to Natasha Miller and Annette Mayfield. Let's not forget her Line Dance and Hyp3 Fitness Family who will miss her dearly. A host of aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends including Virgil Rosell who was like another special mom to her. Everyone including The Dirty Dozen is deeply saddened too.
The family will receive friends at Pulaski Funeral Home on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with funeral services beginning at 12:00 PM. with Bro. Seibert Taylor officiating.
Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Gardens at 2:00 P.M.
She leaves with you her legacy that will live on forever in all who loved her dearly. Even though “Angie” was taken too soon, she lived an extraordinary life surrounded by people who adored her.
Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to assist the family.
I’ll leave you with this…please don’t cry because I’m gone; instead be happy that I left a lasting memory with you…….Angie
