Alicia Kay Griffin Stone

Alicia Kay Griffin Stone, 43 years of age of Somerset, KY, passed away at 2:51 pm on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.

Alicia was born in Danville, KY on Monday, June 12, 1978, the daughter of Larry and Charlotte Nolan Griffin. She was a graduate of Casey County High School, a homemaker and enjoyed couponing, making canning videos, and playing with her feline pet "Baby". Alicia loved animals of all types from birds to ferrets.

Alicia is survived by one child, Max Coffman; her parents, Larry and Charlotte Griffin; one sister, Rhonda (and Clyde) Hammons; two brothers, Johnny (and Jamaica) Griffin, and Jeffery (and Kayla) Griffin; her father and mother-in-law, Joseph (and Vickie) Stone; a special niece, Hailee (and Ethan) Southerland; additional nieces, Haley Evans, and Jennifer Wathen; the following nephews, Mason Evans, C.J. Hammons, Jason Hammons and Joseph Wathen and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 12 years, Adam McKinnley Stone, whom she married on September 26, 2009 and who departed this life on October 23rd of this year, and her grandparents, Elzie Griffin, Nancy Griffin and Arthur and Priscilla Nolan.

The family of Alicia Stone will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home on Monday, November 1, 2021 from 5 to 8 p.m. and a funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. David Bullock and Bro. Darin Lane officiating.

Burial will follow in the Tanner Cemetery.
