Juanita Meece Sears

Juanita Sears, daughter of the late James and Hattie Smiley Meece, was born in Norwood, Ohio on April 14, 1927 and she departed this life on March 13, 2007 having attained the age of 79 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. William McKinley Sears on October 2, 1944; he preceded her in death. Survivors include; two children, Dalous Sears and his wife Mary Ann of Somerset, KY and Barbara West and her husband Richard of the Beech Grove Community of Science Hill, KY; four grandchildren, Scott West, Stephanie (and Bill) Dick, Jason Sears and Joni Barnett and husband Bill; five great grandchildren, Erica Dick, Rhianna Dick, Caleb Dick, Taylor Henderick and McKenzie Barnett; one sister, Maxine (and Jack) Ping; one brother, Donald (and Ella Mae) Meece and a host of other relatives and friends who mourn her passing. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; one son, Charles Edward Sears; and one brother, Harold Meece. Juanita was a homemaker and a member of the White Lily Baptist Church, she was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Ernest Warren and Bro. Bernard Meece officiating. Burial will follow in the White Lily Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Jaunita Sears will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form on donations to the White Lily Cemetery Fund. Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all funeral arrangeemnts.
