Flora Wood

Flora Wood the daughter of the late A.H. and Ida Prather Vanhooser was born December 7,1912 in Trimble, Kentucky and departed this life on Saturday, March 10,2007 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, having attained the age of 94 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to Mr. Harry Wood he preceded her in death. Flora is survived by two Daughters; Mary Lois (and Wildon) Trimble of Nancy,Beatrice Lowery of Somerset; three grandhildern; Joe Lowery,Somerset, Amy (and) Doug) Wolke of Somerset, Marty(and Beth) Trimble of Richmond; six great grandchildren; Natasha Lowery of Somerset, KY, Benjamin Trimble of Richmond, KY, Holly, Andrew, Brookyln and Chandler Wolke all of Somerset, KY. Other than her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by; one son-in-law, Ransom Eugene Lowery; one grandaughter, Genia Lowery; one brother, Willie Vanhooser; and three sisters, Lina Vanhooser, Ella Hart and Virgie Daulton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at the Bethlehem Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Harris and Bro. Lester Caldwell. Burial will follow in the Tarter Cemetery at Naomi, KY. The family of Mrs. Flora Wood will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
