Jesse Woodrow Roberts

Jesse Roberts, son of the late Sam Joe and Amanda Lovell Roberts, was born in Wayne Co., KY on December 06, 1924 and he departed this life on March 08, 2007 having attained the age of 82 years. He was united in marriage to Margaret Kelly on February 9,1952 in Wayne County, KY. Jesse was a W.W. II U.S. Navy Vetern a retired auto body repair man and sales person. He also adhered of the Methodist Faith. Other than his wife he is survived by; two daughters, Portia (and Tommy) Maybrier, Pamela (and Darren) Barnett both of Somerset; one son, Danny Jesse Roberts (and his fiancee Connie) of Lexington,KY;six grandchildern, Andrew (and Angie)Maybrier, Wally (and Leah) Maybrier, Tracy (and Rick) McCrystal,Davin(and Bridget) Roberts, Cheyenne Barnett, Kelby Barnett all of Somerset; six great grandchildern, Jakob, Seth, Lukas, and Ian Maybrier, Kent and Katie Dalton all of Somerset. Jesse was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Pearl, Linnie and Eva; four brothers,Ben,Luther,Sam and Baxter Roberts. The family of Mr. Jesse Roberts would like to thank Hospice of Lake Cumberland for their support during Mr. Roberts illiness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2007 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Butte officiating. Burial will follow in the Mill Springs National Cemetery. The family of Mr. Jesse Roberts will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. Sunday, March 11, 2007 at the Funeral Home. Military honors willbe conducted by Amercian legion Post #38 Honor Guard. Family request expressions of Symphony take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland, in memory of Jesse Roberts Pulaski Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
