Wanda Lee Garrett, daughter of the late Johnny and Hazel Della Branscum Hardwick, was born at Tateville, KY on April 10, 1931 and she departed this life on February 28, 2007 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, having attained the age of 75 years.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Carl Rudolph Garrett he preceded her in death.
Survivors include one son, Rudy Garrett and his wife Susan of Somerset, KY; two grandchildren, Andrea and Bethany Bagwell; one brother, Denver Hardwick of the Quinton Community; and two sisters, Opal Flynn of the Quinton Community and Mae Williams of Hamilton, OH
Other than her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by; one sister, Sylvia “Tincie” Wood.
Wanda was a retired seamstress, homemaker and child care provider, she was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 01, 2007 at the chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. Richard Held and Rev. Doug Wilcoxson officiating. Burial will follow in the Quinton Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 02, 2007 .
