Mr. Clarence Mason Turner, son of the late Robert and Lou Annie Bullock Turner, was born on March 02, 1912 in Acorn, KY and departed this life on Saturday, January 27, 2007 in Algonac, Michigan having attained the age of 94 years.
He was in marriage to Margaret Ellen Phelps Turner, she preceded him in death, he was also married to Berniece Callahan Slavey Turner, she also preceded him in death.
Survivors include; four sons, Clarence Edward (and Connie) Turner of Algonac, MI, Phillip Joe (and Brenda) Turner of Vine Grove, KY, Winfred Lee (and Linda) Turner of Mooresville, IN, and Bruce Allen Turner of Beech Grove, IN; two daughters, Barbara Lou Everman and her husband Gene of Indianapolis, IN, and Mary Anna Ford Roy and her husband William of Oklahoma City, OK; Thirteen grandchildren, Twenty-Four great grandchildren, Five great great grandchildren, Three step grandchildren, Ten step great grandchildren, and Four step great great grandchildren.
Other than his parents and two wives, he was also preceded in death by; one son, David Earl Turner; one daughter, Carolyn Sue Turner; and three brothers, John Winfred Turner, Samuel Elliott Turner, and Lawrence Edward Turner.
Clarence was born at Acorn, and is formerly of Barnesburg, he moved to Indianapolis for work and he retired from Detroit Diesel Allison of Indianapolis, IN in 1977 after 28 years of service. He was a member of the U.A.W. Local 933 and he was a faithful member of the Pentecostal Church of God in Indiana and Kentucky.
Funeral services will be held at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 31, 2007 with Bro. Johnny Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow in the Goodwater Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Clarence Mason Turner will receive friends at Pulaski Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, 2007.
