Merle Eugene Roberts

Merele Eugene Roberts, 63, husband of Charlotte Bray Roberts, of 127 Kelli Court, died Friday, December 115, 2006 at the Spartanburg Healthcare System. Born in Somerset, KY on April 29, 1943, he was a son of George Merle Roberts of Eubank, KY and the late Alta Christine Estes Roberts. He was a retired retail employee and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Eubank, KY. In addition to his wife and father, he is also survived by : one daughter, Merlyn White and her husband Steve of Spartanburg,; one brother, James E. Roberts of Eubank, KY; and one grandson, Steven S. White II. Other than his mother, he was preceded in death by: one son, Timothy Grant Roberts and : one brother, Gerald Lee Roberts. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m.. Wednesday, December 20, 2006 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with burial following in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Merle Eugene Roberts will receive friends at Pulaski Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 19, 2006. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Alzhiemers Association at 521 N. McDuffie Street, Anderson, South Carolina. Envelopes will also be provided at Pulaski Funeral Home. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with all funeral arrangements concerning Mr. Roberts.
