Mrs. Retha M. Farmer

Retha M. Farmer, born November 29, 1924 – died December 12, 2010. Widow of Howard R. Farmer who preceded her in death, June 1, 1971. She was the daughter of the late Cy H. Farmer and Ella Wyatt Farmer. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Lynn Farmer who died on Christmas Day, 1960 and a sister and brother, Ruby (Roy) Meece and Floyd (Bonnie) Farmer. She is survived by a son, Howard Russell Farmer, Lexington, KY; a daughter, Diane (Charles) Warren, Lexington, KY; a sister, Margie Edwards, Somerset, KY; three grandchildren: Kimberly Marlane Farmer, Georgetown, KY, Jennifer Claire (Matthew) Simpson, Richmond, KY, and Sara Beth Farmer, Lexington, Kentucky. Retha is also survived by four great grandchildren: Kenneth Lee “Trey” Burrus III, Jacey Grace Gafford, Landon Patrick Burlew, Gavin Patrick Simpson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Retha believed strongly in Jesus Christ, the Son of God and never deterred from her faith. She was a member at East Somerset Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 17, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Poplarville Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Retha M. Farmer will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home form 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2010. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Rehta M. Farmer.
