Delphia Phelps Hines

Delphia Phelps Hines, 93 of Poplarville, KY passed away on Monday, December 4, 2006 at her son's home. She was the wife of the late Vola Hines. She was born on March 20, 1913 in Northfield, KY, a daughter of the late Everett and Lena Taylor. She was Postmaster of the Poplarville Post Office for 23 years. She is survived by; a son, Beecher Hines and his wife, Ruby of Cynthiana, KY, Mr. Robert Edwards of Lexington, KY, and three grandchildren, Douglas Hines, Daryl Hines and Deborah Brock all of Paris, KY and eight great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 08, 2006 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Sam Harris officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. The Family of Mrs. Delphia Hines will receive friends at the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. Thursday, December 07, 2006. In Leiu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Leesburg Christian Church, 6005 KY Hwy 1842 North, Cynthiana, KY 41031.
