Edith (Thompson) Lowery, 78, of Mark Lowery Road, Somerset, KY, died Snday, December 03, 2006 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset. She was born on July 29, 1928 in Broadhead, KY, the daughter of the late James L. and Maggie (Cottrell) Thompson. She was a former employee of Lear-Siegler, a member of the Cumberland Baptist Church where she was a secretary-Treasurer of the church. Survivors include; four daughters, Vicky (and Earnest) Flanery of Eubank, KY, Charlene (and Clyde) Goff of Somerset, KY, Kathy Bullock and Tresa (and Ronnie) Blevins both of Somerset, KY; three sons, Roger (and Brenda) Lowery, Freddie (and Barbara) Lowery and Mark (and Debbie) Lowery all of Somerset; a brother, Kenneth Thompson of Braodhead, KY; two sisters, Dorothy Lowery of Somerset, KY and Irene Taylor of broadhead, KY; 18 grandchildren, Derek Lowery, Lesley Matlock, Eric Goff, Misty Burton, Kyle Pennington, Tracey Bradley, Lisa Ping, Kristy Roberts, Brian Lowery, Kelsey Lowery, Sonya Phelps, Andrew Flanery, Brittany Flanery, Dorenda Pigman, Kim Turpen, Debra Lowery, Jason Lowery and Dakota Blevins; and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie Lowery; three brothers, Bee, Owen and Edward Thompson; and a sister, Ruby Thompson Brown. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Ridner and Rev. Dudley Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in the Lowery Family Cemetery. Pulaski Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
