Alta Edwards

Alta F. Flynn Edwards, daughter of the late John and Flora Flynn, was born in Wayne Co., Ky on September 03, 1920 and she departed this life on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 having attained the age of 86 years. Survivors include; one son, James McCary of Franklin, OH; one sister, Sarah (and Cecil) Ping of Somerset, KY and several nieces and nephews. Other than her parents, she was also preceded in death by; her 1st husband, Henery McCary and also by her second husband, Gerald Edwards; one sister, Katherine Ping; and three brothers, Orville, Archie, and Farrell Flynn. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 01, 2006 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Eugene Tarter officiating. Burial will follow in the Somerset Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Alta Flynn Edwards will receive friends at Pulaski Funeral Home after 10:00 a.m. Friday until time for services. The family requests expressions of Sympathy take the form of donations to the Alzhiemers Respite Center.
