Mrs. Norma Alton, daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin and Zella Dee McDaniel Lyons, was born in Covington, KY on July 16, 1959 and she departed this life on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 having attained the age of 51 years.
She was united in marriage to Mr. Thomas Alton, he survives. Other survivors include; one son, George Brooks of Prestonsburg, KY; five daughters, Cathy Brooks of Paducah, KY, Ruthie Neal Whitley City, KY, Dawn Brooks of Somerset, KY, Norma Thompson of Burnside, KY, and Cora Lyons of Corbin, KY; twelve brothers and sisters; Susan (and Harold) Marcum of Mckee, Kentucky, Franklin Lyons of Indianapolis, Indiana, Mildred (and Butch) Hisel of Portland, Tennessee, Buddy Lyons, of Frenchberg, Kentucky, Vernon Lyons of Mckee, Kentucky, Patricia Harison of Mckee, Kentucky, David Lyons of Mckee, Kentucky, Ralph (Lisa) Lyons of Sand Gap, Kentucky, Michael (and Kim) Lyons of Richmond, Kentucky, Patty Rose of Sand Gap, Kentucky, Georgia Clemmons of Sand Gap, Kentucky, seven grandchildren; Dominic Baker, Angela Baker, Brandon Baker, Shawnakay Sampson, Austin Thompson, Isaiah Thompson, and Derek Thompson and a host of relatives and friends who all mourn her passing.
Other than her parents Mrs. Alton was preceded in death by three sister; Katherine Clemmons, Helen Cockley and Emily Ruth.
Norma was a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church, she was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Grave Hill Cemetery .
The family of Mrs. Norma Alton will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home form 11:00 a.m. Saturday until time for services.
