Bonnie Jean Vanover, formerly of Vandalia passed away November 7, 2010 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. Loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother.
Born October 29, 1923 in Perry County KY.
She was proceeded in death by her father James R. Hall and mother Leona Hall. One brother Edward Hall. Four sisters Liza Caudell,
Varna Parson, Verti Pratt, Glaydes Proffit.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years William Vanover Jr. Six sons; William Vanover lll and wife Carol of Somerset Ky, Terry Vanover and wife Linda of Burnside, Ky, Michael Vanover and wife Roxann of Vandalia, OH, Gary Vanover and wife Nancy of Tipp City, OH, Lonnie Vanover and wife Robin of Englewood, OH, Tim Vanover and wife Nancy of Vandalia, OH. Three Daughters; Carol Whitaker of Burnside, KY, Emma Shumaker and husband Denny of Somerset, KY, Patty Vranesic and husband Tom of Englewood, OH. 22 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 10 great, great, grandchildren and countless nieces, nephews, family and friends, especially the Adams family.
A resident of Vandalia for 22 years and employed by Franklin Nursing Center for 18 years. Retired to Burnside, KY in 1986. She was a tribute to mothers, an amazing caregiver, a women to be admired. Her legacy will continue for many generations through the many happy families she leaves behind, and who will miss her terribly.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 .m. Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Don Sams officiating, burial will follow in the Sloans Valley Cemetery.
The family of Mrs. Bonnie Jean Vanover will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until time for services.
