Christine (York) Thurman

Christine Thurman, daughter of the late Newell and Pearl Cowan York, was born in Wayne County, KY on June 04, 1912 and departed this life on Sunday, November 19, 2006 at Britthaven of Somerset, KY having attained the age of 94 years. She was united in marriage to William Marshall Thurman, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; one son, George (and Betty) Thurman of Somerset, KY; and two grandchildren, Jeff (and Kathy) Thurman and Jo Ellen (and Scott) Whitaker of Somerset, KYand two great grandchildren, Lindsey Thurman and Tyler Whitaker. Christine was a homemaker and a Lifetime member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Dr. Harold Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The Family of Mrs. Christine York Thurman will receive friends at the funeral home after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 21, 2006.
