Mrs. Hattie Jane Flynn

Mrs. Hattie Jane Flynn, daughter of the late Tom and Alice Keith Mitchell, was born in Wayne County, KY on April 10, 1917 and she departed this life on Monday, October 25, 2010 having attained the age of age 93 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Walter Flynn, he preceded her in death. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three sons, Boyce Lee, Jimmy Edwin and Roy Wayne Flynn; one daughter, Jewell Dean; and one grandchild Jody Lee Flynn. Mrs. Flynn is survived by three sons, Arnold (Wanda), Harold (Jennifer), and Darrell (Debbie) Flynn all of Somerset. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three Grandsons, Anthony (Melinda) Flynn, Jayson (Crystal) Flynn, and Josh Flynn and his special friend Lynzey Wilson, four Granddaughters, Tammy (Jamie) Robinson, Crystal Flynn Hansford, Jessica (Luke) Stevenson, Megan (and Kevin) Dietzel. Mrs. Flynn also leaves behind six great grandchildren, Braxton and Brenna Robinson, Trenton Flynn, Taylor Hansford, Maddox Flynn , Jayzlin Flynn and Allison Hattie Stevenson. Mrs. Flynn was a member of the Slate Branch Baptist Church. Services for Mrs. Flynn will be held on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Slate Branch Baptist Church with Bro. J.S. New and Bill Dawson officiating. The family of Mrs. Flynn will receive friends on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. at the Chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home. The family of Mrs. Flyyn will also receive friends at the church on Thursday, October 28, 2010 from 12 noon until time of services. In lieu of flowers family request that expressions of sympathy may be made to The Gideons Memorial Bible Plan or the American Cancer Society. The family of Mrs. Hattie Jane Flynn would like to take this special opportunity to thank the extremely wonderful staff of Somerset Nursing and Rehabilitation, The Staff of the Neighborhood, and Dr. Robert Drake and his staff for their wonderful care during this time.
