Mrs. Delores Garner Curtis

Mrs. Delores Curtis, daughter of the late Earl and Polly Sawyer Garner, was born in Somerset, KY on October 24, 1931 and departed this life on Thursday, November 16, 2006 having attained the age of 75 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Bob Curtis who preceded her in death. Survivors include; one son, Robert (and Cathy) Curtis of Richmond, KY; one daughter-in-law, Shaun Curtis Dyer of Somerset, KY; one brother, Gerald (and Joan) Garner of Somerset, KY; two sisters, Patsy Stringer of Somerset, KY and Jane (and Wayne) Stephens of Kings Mountain, KY and four granddaughters, Mandy, Klecenda, Jasie and Alison Curtis. Other than her parents, and husband, she was also preceded in death by; one son, John Curtis; one daughter, Barbara Camille Curtis who died in infancy, and one brother-in-law, Arthur Stringer. Delores was a retired receptionist from the Pulaski County Board of Education, and a member of the Beacon Hill Baptist Church, she was a kind lady who will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives, friends and church family who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2006 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. Sammie Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens. The family of Mrs. Delores Garner Curtis will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home after 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2006 until after services. Pulaski Funeral Home is entrusted with all funeral arrangements.
