Mr. James Alpheus Ping

Mr. James Alpheus Ping, age 83 of Red Bluff died on October 9, 2010. James was retired from the City of Mountain View, California, and moved to Red Bluff, California in 1990. He was born on February 17, 1927 in the Colo Community of Pulaski County, Kentucky. He was the sole surviving son of the late Thomas and Eilizabeth Phelps Ping. Survivors include; his wife, Elsie Lee Ping; two sons, Jeffery Ping of Los Molinos, California, and Michael Ping of Redwood City, California; one daughter, Donna Feltman of Manton, California; and three grandchildren, Kimberley M. Fennel, Dylan J. Ping and Allison S. Ping. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters. Funeral services will be held at Manton Community Church located at 31555 Forward Road, Manton, California at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 with Pastor Michael L. Stiener officiating.
