Larry Joe Fletcher

Larry Joe Fletcher age 52 died Tuesday at Lake Cumberland Hospital from cancer. He was the son of Nettie and Mitchell Fletcher who preceded him in death. “Joe” was raised in Rockcastle County by his sister Lou. He grew up in the Sand Springs Community. A trucker driver by trade he went by the handle ‘Moonshiner’ and will be missed by his trucker friends as well as his family. He had to retire from trucking due to his loss of vision. He missed the road and talked of his travels often. He is the father of three children Joanna Fletcher Suitor she is married to David Suitor, Larry D. Fletcher who is married to Monica Truett Fletcher and Renee Fletcher fiancée of Phillip Greer. He also is the grandfather of seven wonderful grandchildren. Natasha and Chance McKinney, Destiny Green, Jacob and Keith Fletcher, Joseph Ramsey, Aubrey Greer, and Brittany Kavanaugh. Joe is also the brother of 14 siblings; Lou, Darryl, James, Jack, Jean, Linda, Floyd, Marry, and Thelma. He was preceded in death by; Eddie B., Lovell, Cleda Scott, Geneva and Alma Fletcher. He was also the uncle to several nieces and nephews. Two of these nieces Beverly and Samantha were more like sisters. A memorial will be held at his daughter Renee’s home and attended by family and close friends. Pulaski Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
