Pauline Elizabeth Godby, daughter of the late Cleo and Lilly Harris Davis, was born at Burnside, KY on September 25, 1919 and she departed this life on Friday, October 1, 2010 having attained the age of 91 years. She was united in marriage to Mr. Billy Godby, he preceded her in death. Survivors include; three grandchildren, Sharon (and Grant) Turner of Cincinnati, OH, Cathy (and Eric) Durbin and Linda (and Ron) Hall all of Hamilton, Ohio; two sisters, Margaret Flynn Rogers and Katherine Thompson both of Somerset, KY; five great grandchildren, Stephanie and Katie Turner, Randy Durbin and Nicole Esterkamp and Chelsea Hall; two great great grandchildren, Makena and Kaylee Turner; one sister-in-law, Virginia Sue Bell of Newcastle, IN the following nieces; Brenda Grothaus of Cincinnati, OH, Jean Combs of Waynesburg, KY, Jane Wallen of Newcastle, IN, Jill Allen of New Castle, IN and Jennifer Davis also of New Castle, IN, and many other great nephews and neices. Other than her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by; one son, James Godby; two brothers, Woodrow and Clarence Davis; and one nephew, John H. Davis. Pauline was a homemaker and a kind christian lady, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her and she leaves a host of relatives, and friends who mourn her passing. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Rev. David Meece officiating. Interment will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, Octber 6, 2010 at the Arlington Cemetery in Cincinnati, OH. The family of Mrs. Pauline Godby will receive friends at the Pulaski Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010 until time for services. Pulaski Funeral Home is honored to be in charge of all arrangements for Mrs. Pauline Godby.
